Here are things to know when your character is in a battle.
Higher Speed beats lower Attack:
A character with a higher Speed Stat can dodge an attack from a character with a lower Attack Stat.
***Note: Yes, you can dodge it but don't God-Mod. No one dodges everything
Higher Attack beats lower Speed:
A character with a higher Attack Stat is more likely to land a hit on a character with a lower Speed Stat.
Higher Defense cuts lower Attack or blocks:
If a character with a higher Defense Stat is attacked by a character with a lower Attack Stat then that character will take only half of the damage or be able to block all of the damage with a shield.
For example, if a character with a Defense Stat of 20 gets hit by an attack from a character with an Attack Stat of 19 or less the damage dealt is cut in half. If a character with a higher Defense Stat is using a shield and a character with a lower Attack Stat attacks it, the attack is blocked and no damage is taken. This only works on same Lvl attacks.
(Lvl 1 character VS Lvl 1 Technique. Same for Magic Attack and Magic Defense)
Higher Attack Stat beats lower Defense Stat:
A character with a lower Defense Stat takes regular damage. However, if a character's Attack Stat is more than double of a character's Defense Stat that character deals double(2x) damage. (Same for Magic Attack and Magic Defense)
Same Level techniques cancel each other out:
If Character A attacks Character B with a level 3 techniques and Character B defends by sending a Level 3 technique of their own at the technique used by Character A they both cancel out and no damage is dealt.
A Maximum of 2 Techniques can be used per post
When battling post this at the bottom of your post.

That way the other person can keep track of damage and so can you.
When using an attack post its template so your opponent knows what it does.
When your Character's HP hits 0 they are considered unconscious. They cannot get up until they gain 1 or more HP back. On your 3rd turn after your character has fainted you begin to gain 1 HP each post until you are back to max HP or hit again.
***Note: Your opponent can kill your character while he or she is down. But that is between you and them.
When your Characters MP reaches 0 every other post after your character gains 2 MP until it reaches maximum.
